thelibster.com
"The Libster" is an educational bass guitar site. There are lots of lessons and bass transcriptions, bass oriented sound files, playing tips, links and lots of other goodies to be found here. If you're a total beginner, you've come to the right place. If you're a teacher, you've come to the right place. If you like getting down and dirty and funky, you've come to the right place. If you're a french horn player, you might be better off having a google. (The site is currently being dusted off, after years stored away on a firewire backup drive. I can't quite believe I found it again). Here's some of the stuff you'll come across on the site:
The silly interactive guestbook - "The Libster Lounge" - is now up and running again. I'm eventually going to upload an archive of the old Libster Lounge (if I can find it), which features entries from such bass royalty as Marcus Miller and Carol Kaye. There is a brand spanking new Q&A section and the Blinks page has just had an overhaul.
If you find any dodgy links on the "new" site, I'm not really sure that I care.
Seriously though,
